Colonel E.H. Taylor Cured Oak

I hope I’m wrong but I may have missed the latest release from Buffalo Trace in the Colonel E.H. Taylor line. It is Cured Oak and is 100 proof and aged 17 years. The staves for the barrel were allowed to age 13 months as opposed to the normal six. The Bourbon hit the streets in March with a suggested retail price of $70. I have not spotted it out and about, but suspect it was snagged by those in the know before I could get my grubby little hands on some. If I do find some, eventually you’ll hear about it.

This would be the seventh in the line which includes four standards, Small Batch, Single Barrel, Barrel Proof, and Straight Rye, and there have been two limited editions, Old Fashioned Sour Mash, and Warehouse C Tornado Surviving.
